Friends and Family
A short video that shows our dogs and cats, tell a little about them and how they came to be a part of our family
Our family has had hardships and joys.  We have rejoiced in the birth of family members and hold in our hearts fond memories of those that have passed.  We've seen divorces, marriages, new jobs, jobs lost, sickness, injuries, health, success and failure.  We've argued, laughed, cried, cursed and given prayers.  We're scattered all over the country, but none of us is ever alone.   Above and beyond everything, we're a family.

Then we have the added riches of Friends.  Friends that we have known for a lifetime and friends that we have made along the way.

The only things that can improve a day in the outdoors is sharing it with Friends and Family.

One of the few times that Chris and I have met and not gone fishing, was recently in Chicago.  We did manage to do a bit of touristing and spent a bit of time at the local pub.
Sharon and I had a chance to spend the weekend with Mark and Darla in New Orleans.  Had a real good time.  Heres a two part series that shows where we went, what we did and what we saw.
You know your getting old when a wild swingers party involves a Nintendo Wii. Mark and Darla, Steve and Connie, and Stef and Patrick came over and this is how we spent our afternoon.
A good friends daughter, Nicole recently graduated from High School.  Had a real nice graduation party.
Sharon and I made a short getaway up North to visit Frankenmuth and do a little Kyaking on the Muskegon River
Sharon and I were able to make another quick run up North for a Weekend to Traverse City and did a little touristing on our way home.
Our little town of Watervliet had it's annual Ice Sculpting Festival, with ice sculpters, a Chile Cook and a 5K Run.  Just shows you some of the activities, the scultures, and what we do to pass the time up North.
In February Chris started another adventure with a fall.  Our hopes and prayers were that Chris would stay with us and we would go on this adventure together.
While visiting Chris had the chance to see our future superstar, Emma in her Softball Game.
Spent a few days in Florida with Mark, Darla and Shawn.  Just a four part video that shows our time on the beach, looking at Alligators, a Leatherback Sea Turtle, Manatee's, Kayaking and touristing.
Was able to get down and spend a few days with Chris and my family.  He still has a lot of work to do, but is improving every day.  Just a short video to show how things are going.
Thanks to Tom, Curtis and Mike, at Tri-County Computers, courtesy of OK Distributers I went to my first professional ball game.  Chicago White Sox vs the Detroit Tigers.  It was tough to do, but we decided to cheer for our home team, the tigers, and they acutally won.  A great trip.
Was just a good long weekend.  Started Friday with the Races in Hartford, the a drift on the Dowagiac River and finishing up with a day at the Berrien County Youth Fair.
Made a quick run to Texas to spend a couple days with Chris and my family.   He is attending the Pate Rehabilitation Center and doing great.  We hit Lake Texoma for Stripers and I got to spend a day with him in rehab.
A fellow fisherman, Dan is going to do a bit of fighting with cancer.  Wanted to let him know how many people are behind him and make sure he knows he and his family are not fighting alone.
